Walking into Apploye's office for the first time as an intern, straight out of a Nuclear Engineering background.
I remember sitting down at this desk not entirely sure I belonged there. My background was reactor thermal-hydraulics, not React components — but the team handed me a real ticket in my first week instead of an onboarding toy project.
That decision set the tone for everything after: Apploye treated me like an engineer from day one, not an intern to be shielded from production code. Three weeks later I shipped my first feature into the org-settings UI.
Looking back, the biggest adjustment wasn't the syntax — it was the feedback loop. Nuclear systems give you months between a decision and a result. Here, I could ship on Monday and see real usage by Wednesday.
